Cavium Networks secures $15.5M in Series B Funding
Cavium Networks to accelerate growth and support growing base of customers implementing Internet security processing
San Jose, CA, April 24, 2002 -
Cavium Networks, a fabless semiconductor company developing high performance network security processors announced that it has closed a $15.5M Series B round of funding. The round was led by Menlo Ventures based in Menlo Park, CA. Series A investors Alliance Ventures and Diamondhead Ventures also participated in the round. The closure of this round brings the total funding received by Cavium Networks up to $23.5M. John Jarve, Managing Director, Menlo Ventures joins the board of directors of Cavium Networks.
