Cavium Networks Files Registration Statement with the SEC for an Initial Public Offering

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. February 20, 2007 – Cavium Networks, a leading provider of semiconductor products that enables intelligent processing for networking, communications and security applications announced that it has filed an S-1 registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering.

Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers Inc. will act as joint book-running managers for the offering with Thomas Weisel Partners LLC, Needham & company, LLC and JMP securities as co-managers. The number of shares to be sold in the proposed offering and the offering price has not yet been determined.
