Cavium Networks Adds Marketing Veteran to Management Team

Former Intel Executive, Rajiv Khemani, joins as Vice President of Marketing

Santa Clara, CA, July 31, 2003 - Cavium Networks, the leader in security processing with the industry's broadest product line, today announced appointment of Rajiv Khemani as Vice President of Marketing. Khemani joins Cavium Networks from Intel Corp., (NASDAQ: INTC), where as a Director of Marketing in its Network Processor Division, he led the product management, technical marketing and ecosystem development for Intel's network processor product line. During his five year tenure with Intel, he also served as general manager of its high-end network processor business unit where he led the organization to achieve major OEM customer wins and industry-leading market share.

Khemani is a 15-year veteran of the computer industry, with engineering, marketing and business development experience in the communication semiconductor and network storage markets. He joined Intel through Intel's acquisition of Netboost, a venture-backed network processor startup. Before that, he managed strategy and business development at Network Appliance (NASDAQ: NTAP), where he was responsible for NetApp's first acquisition of a web-caching startup and the strategic alliance with Microsoft. Khemani also worked at Sun Microsystems (NASDAQ: SUNW), where he held engineering management and product management roles. He holds a BTech in Computer Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, an MS in Computer Science from New York University and an MBA from Stanford University.
