SonicWALL selects Cavium Networks OCTEON™ Network Services Processors for Next Generation Content and Security Platforms

Santa Clara, CA, September 13, 2004 -- Cavium Networks, the cost and performance leader in content and security processing today announced that SonicWALL, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNWL), a leading provider of integrated security, productivity and mobility solutions, has selected Cavium Networks' OCTEON Network Service Processor family to deliver a scalable and feature-rich next generation product family. SonicWALL's integrated security appliances provide the first line of defense against a broad range of Internet security threats. SonicWALL's products include an ICSA-certified stateful packet inspection firewall, IPSec VPN for remote access, IP address management features and support for SonicWALL value-added security services.
