For FastLinQ® Ethernet adapter products sold directly from Cavium or through Cavium's distribution channels, Cavium offers a standard 12-month warranty from the date of shipment. For any OEM partner-branded Ethernet adapters, please refer to that partner’s specific warranty terms and conditions.
For QLogic® Fibre Channel Adapter products, Cavium includes a standard 36-month warranty from the date of shipment. This standard warranty includes advanced exchange for confirmed failures and applies only to Cavium-branded Fibre Channel adapters. For any OEM partner-branded Fibre Channel adapters, please refer to that partner’s specific warranty terms and conditions.
Products under warranty which are found to be defective or not functioning to spec should be returned to the factory for repair, replacement, or failure analysis after a return request (RMA) has been approved. The standard warranty does not include advanced replacement except in the case of Fibre Channel Adapter products.
Upon receipt of your RMA request, Cavium will validate the warranty status of the products based on the serial numbers provided and, at its discretion, issue an RMA number and specific shipping details for the return.
Cavium’s technical support team may contact you to troubleshoot the problem prior to the issuance of an RMA.
Note: Any pre-production or prototype products are not covered by Cavium's standard warranty.
